We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist. At Adikteev, we manage an extensive volume of data. Machine Learning is the backbone of our service offering at Adikteev. A machine learning model that delivers better results significantly influences the overall performance of the company.


  • Design, deploy, monitor, maintain and improve machine learning and deep learning models. You will collaborate with backend and data engineers for these purposes. Currently, our models serve diverse needs (user conversion, churn, app recommendation, user segmentation…). They have been developed and improved over the years to optimize their performances while taking into account the main constraints of our industry: inference time and data volume.

  • Perform custom analysis to give insights to various levels of stakeholders (investigate performance shift, A/B test, evaluate a business potential, presale analysis…).

  • Mentor a junior data scientist.



  • Mathematical skills - understands and enjoys applying theoretical concepts of probability, statistical learning and optimization. Eagerness to keep abreast of relevant academic & professional research.

  • ML skills - Proficiency in querying, structuring and processing qualitative or quantitative data to draw insightful business conclusions. Knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques and their real-world advantages/drawbacks.

  • Technical skills - Deftly programs in Python (main packages: pandas, numpy, scipy, scikit-learn, tensorflow…) with coding best practices (clean code, DRY, typing, tests, formatting, factorization...). Experience with PySpark (or Scala) is a plus. Basic knowledge of database languages (SQL). Competency in shell scripting, experience with deployment to Production. Experience with AWS a plus (S3, EC2, EMR, Glue, SageMaker…).

  • Main soft skills
    - Fast learning, autonomy, teamwork, creativity, practical, business oriented.

  • Communication - Speaks and writes clearly and concisely. Fluent English, French is a plus.


  • Master’s degree or PhD in STEM, preferably with a statistics focus.

  • 5+ years of experience working in teams using data science to power a core company product or service. Exceptional candidates with less professional experience will also be considered.

  • Applied experience with machine learning on large datasets.
